Inspired by film and theatre from a young age, Beau grew up making short films, and acting at every available opportunity. This passion for story and to create, only grew stronger with time, and naturally became his way of life.
Hailing from an acting background, Beau has played a variety of diverse characters in both independent and big budget productions including Netflix’s ‘Cursed’, ‘Code 404’ and ‘Men in Black 4’, as well as voice work for games like ‘Watch Dogs: Legion’. These opportunities have allowed him to work alongside renowned actors such as Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Mays, and Stephen Graham.
In 2008 after winning the Motorola film competition ‘DirectorMe’ with ‘Brotherly Love’ that he directed and starred in (and was one of the first 20 films ever to be shot & edited entirely on a mobile phone), ‘Empire’ the world’s leading film magazine, reviewed the short and asked: ‘Is this the next Scorsese?’ Soon after this, Beau co-founded the production company Ki Films, which has gone on to produce multi-award-winning short films, and music videos for artists such as Agnetha Fältskog (ABBA), Mick Hucknall, and Chinese superstar Karen Mok.
In 2017, Beau made a name for himself following the success of his 47-time award-winning action short film ‘Express Delivery’ that he wrote, directed and starred in. Soon after this, the LA Film Awards named him ‘One of the Top 30 Filmmakers to Follow’. Beau went on to win Best Screenplay for his feature script ‘3 Days of Dark’ in 2019 at the Birmingham Film Festival, and his recent short film RED that he wrote and starred in has currently won a staggering 70 awards as it makes its way across the festival circuit.
Beau currently has a slate of feature films and TV projects in various stages of development.
